- 3M™ Highland™ Black 7 mil Electrical Insulating Tape measuring 3/4" X 66' features rubber based adhesive for good instant adhesion. Single-sided insulating tape with vinyl backing has a tensile strength of 15 lb/in, dielectric strength of 1200 V/mil and offers 175% elongation even at breaks. Flame retardant tape can be used for 176 deg F temperature and protects against abrasion, weather, water, oil, chemicals, solvents and meets UL 510 standards.
