It is ideal for striping, cutting 8 - 16 AWG stranded wires and has compact, lightweight design. It has narrow nose that fits into tight places and features spring-loaded action for self-opening. Cutter has easy-to-read wire gauge markings on both sides for stripping in either direction and features black-oxide finish that resists corrosion. It has red colored textured handles to provide a firm, comfortable grip.
