- Stanley® Maxsteel® Long Cut Straight Compound Action Aviation Snip measuring 10" has forged chrome molybdenum steel cutting blades for added durability. Snip is ideal for cutting aluminium, vinyl siding, screening, cardboard, leather and copper. It has a latch design that allows for a quick single handed operation and has adjustment-free fasteners to prevent loosening of the blades. It can cut up to 18 ga cold-rolled steel or 23 ga stainless-steel. It has serrated cutting blades to provide a sturdy bite and prevents material from slipping. It has yellow handles to provide a slip-resistant bi-material grip for comfort and control. It meets or exceed ANSI standards.
