- Norton® NORTON METAL Grinding Wheel of 4 1/2" Dia is ideal for small job shops on a variety of metalworking applications and for use with right angle grinder on steel and stainless steel. Wheel has thickness 0 1/4" and is able to rotate at 13580 RPM using 7/8" arbor for efficiently grinding different materials from alloys to gray iron. Type 27 depressed center wheel made from aluminum oxide is also used for on-site, small unit jobs and steel bar, sold as 20 per pack.
