- Norton® NORZON PLUS™ Pipe Notching Wheel of 7" Dia is ideal for all grinding jobs from gray iron to exotic alloys and for use with angle grinder on steel and stainless steel. Wheel with high productivity has a thickness of 0.125" and is able to rotate at 8600 RPM using 5/8-11" arbors for delivering 50 - 200 percent better performance. It maintains a smooth grinding/cutting action and renders 30-50 percent improvement in life. Wheel producing 50 percent better cut rate is made from ceramic aluminum oxide, zirconia alumina and is perfect for shipbuilding, pipeline notching and beveling. Affordable type 27 depressed center wheel is also used for storage tank fabrication, petrochemical maintenance and is sold as 10 per pack.
