- IRWIN® 1/4" Dia X 4" SDS-plus Standard Tip is made of copper braze material that offers high heat resistance for reduced tip loss and fits all SDS-plus and Hilti TE-C rotary hammers. Tip with 2" twist length features a patented tip and flute design that removes dust more efficiently and the chrome vanadium shaft-through is hardened to 50-53HrC. Tip has a reduced area above the flute tip that prevent the drill bit from binding while drilling and the full usable length can be utilized. It meets ANSI specifications. It features a shot-peened, double-tempered finish that reduces breakage and hot isostatically is pressed to extend life and resist breakage.
